Science

The high school science curriculum is determined by the Minnesota State approved science  standards. As students move through high school, 9th gr covers Physical Science (physics and chemistry) and 10th  gr covers Biology.  After that, students are required to take 1 semester of chemistry or physics. We offer multiple classes that satisfy the chemistry requirement. Students are also required to take one additional science elective credit. We offer a range of electives such as Forensic Science I & II, Human Biology, Environmental Biology, Chemistry, and CIS Life Science Chemistry.
